Creative Director, writer and College Professor, Greg Brown was born in Halifax and raised in Ottawa. He attended Carleton and the University of Maryland at Munich, Germany, receiving a degree in English. He has worked in Ottawa and Toronto as a copywriter at many advertising agencies, winning several international awards. Greg has lived in Rome, the Netherlands and Brussels; he has run creativity training courses in Europe and North America, consults internationally and has worked as a medical and technical writer. He has published in various journals including Existere and his plays have appeared on stage in Toronto and Kingston, Ontario. In 1996 he won a New Ideas Festival Award for his first play, The Czar of Cinnamon. Greg currently lives in Toronto.
