Maureen Korp is a military brat, the daughter of an American soldier. She grew up in faraway places, including Okinawa, Hokkaido, Oklahoma, Texas, and Germany. Home base today is Ottawa. Her publications are scattered (more than 150 articles and three books), including a number of poems in little magazines and anthologies, most recently, Tamaracks: Canadian Poetry for the for the 21st Century, 2018, ed. James Deahl; Arborealis, 2019, ed. John B. Lee.
