Paula Folkes

Paula Folkes has returned to Ottawa after four years representing Canada abroad. The daughter of a late high school English teacher, poetry is her form of rebelling against grammar rules and expressing her creativity beyond government briefing notes. She holds a Master's in Public Administration, is a published author in the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation, and is a qualified instructor in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, sharing her lived experience as a Black woman. Paula is a #boymom and enjoys family jam sessions, with her dabbling on bass and the boys playing ukulele.
