Mark Reino Peltonen

I have published poetry in the York University Literary Magazine Existere, and have self-published a book of poetry titled, “In the Shadows of Stars We Dance.” I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from York University and work for Library & Archives Canada in Gatineau, and live in Ottawa. My poems vary in style from free verse, to more constructed stanzas and line forms. I enjoy experimentation with word use, line structure, and allusion. The themes range from nature to spirituality, and focus on the mind’s interpretation of the world around, and within.
