Nicholas Power

NICHOLAS POWER has recently published No Poems from Battered Press, Swing Rhythms with Gesture Press and a collection of poems [a modest device] with The Writing Space. Poems have appeared lately in Rampike, Descant, bywords.ca, leafpress.ca and ottawater.com. He is a founding member of the Meet the Presses collective which promotes independent literary production. He was a storyteller with The Wordweavers and Jabberwock and Sons Full Theatre and has performed with the sound poetry ensemble Alexander’s Dark Band. His poetry, along with the drawings, from The Steady Pull of a Curious Dog, was installed at Side Space Gallery. He played the part of a melancholy poet who learns to dance in the lindy hop musical Get Happy based on his poetry.
