Sean Moreland

Sean Moreland is a writer, scholar, editor, and teacher. He has published about two-dozen poems and a handful of short stories, mainly in independent Canadian periodicals. One of his poems won the John Newlove award in 2007. He is founder and a fiction editor of Postscripts to Darkness (PstD), a serial anthology of weird fiction and art. On the academic side of things, he co-edited the essay collection Fear and Learning: Essays on the Pedagogy of Horror (McFarland, 2013), is currently co-editing Holy Terrors: Essays on Monstrous Children in Cinema (forthcoming from McFarland, 2014) and has recently published chapters in a number of books, including Deciphering Poe and Generation Zombie.
