Willow-Marie Power

Willow’s work has been featured in print as well as in recital and dance at conferences and festivals. Her work has been published in Bywords twice: in Nov. 1994 and June 2012. She is a 1st prize recipient of the Canadian Authors Association (National Capital Region) award in the children’s short fiction category for “Octavia” and is the author of “Dancing Toward Winter”, “Real”, and “Clearings”. Her fourth book, “Imprints” will be published later this year. Her work explores women's spirituality, embodied knowledge, and coming of age. Ottawa is her home base and creative haven.
