Jon Peirce
Jon Peirce has been writing poetry off and on since his university days. An Ottawa resident since 1997, he is a labour relations officer for the Professional Institute, a union representing professionals in the Canadian federal public service. His poetry has appeared in the Dalhousie Review, Sambro Light anthology, Contact Quarterly, and Everyman, and has been read over CBC Radio in Halifax. He has also published short stories, essays, op-ed pieces, book reviews, and an industrial relations textbook. Active in the Ottawa Independent Writers since 1997, he served two terms as president of the organization and is currently president emeritus.
