Désirée de Verteuil

Born in Mons, Belgium, I grew up as a second generation American in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have lived in Ottawa since the summer of 2001 and reside with my husband, Duncan. I have been published in a couple of poetry compilations and have recieved many awards from the Las Vegas Review-Journal for high school journalism. I am about to enter my second year in University and plan to pursue a career in print journalism.
