Emma Moon

Emma Moon (she/her) is a part-time writer and full time engineer from Ottawa, ON where she lives with her husband and two young daughters. Emma works in human performance and inclusive design where her work is identifying and dismantling barriers for women. An undeniable empath, Emma’s writing is inspired by the complexity of human relationships and the feelings they evoke. Though Emma has been writing her whole life, she is new to submitting her work for publication and to performing her poetry. Emma’s first published poem (For Nicola) was featured in the January 2024 issue of Toronto based literary publication Feels Zine.
