I am a proud Ottawa writer, or rather a writer proud to be from Ottawa. My first two crime-based novels were shortlisted for the top Canadian crimewriting award and the third, The Devil's Dust, was released this June. An excerpt from a forthcoming noir collection will appear in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine next spring.
