Jeff Bien
Jeff Bien is an internationally acclaimed poet, musician, activist, and highly regarded teacher of consciousness and meditation, whose work has been published in over sixty countries. One of Bien’s longer prosaic poems, ‘As the walls came down ’ and a shorter lyrical piece, ‘Kyiv’, addressing the contagion of the Ukraine/Russian war, have been rendered into a poetic documentary and short film by a prominent Italian filmmaker. They have been translated into more than twenty languages by preeminent translators, internationally, in the past year and will be released worldwide in April 2024. Two new collections of poetry, 'One hundred seconds to midnight', and 'The Archaeological Digest of Names' are forthcoming. He was recently shortlisted for the Antigonish Writer of the Year Award, (2022), as well as the Montreal International Poetry Prize, and published by numerous journals, including Jintian and 1749 Online World Literature Magazine, Hungary.
